Our transcription service converts your audio files into accurate text transcripts with automatic speaker identification, delivered in multiple formats (TXT, SRT, VTT, JSON). We specialize in fast, accurate audio to text conversion for transcription jobs of all sizes.

Rate limiting and abuse prevention are handled by Vercel's edge infrastructure under their data processing terms, not by our direct systems. Processing is limited to the specific purposes of generating accurate transcripts and maintaining service integrity.
Data We Process
We process only the audio content you voluntarily upload for transcription services. We do not collect, store, or process traditional personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account details. You can use our service completely anonymously. However, your uploaded audio files may contain personal data such as voices, names, conversations, or other identifying information - you retain full responsibility and control over this content.
Technical Data Collection
We collect minimal technical information necessary for service operation: uploaded file metadata (size, duration, format), processing status, and temporary session identifiers. We do not collect or store IP addresses directly - rate limiting and abuse prevention are handled by Vercel's edge infrastructure which processes IP addresses transiently at the network level without storage in our systems. We do not use cookies for tracking, do not create user profiles, and do not track browsing behavior across sessions.
International Data Transfers
Your audio files may be processed on cloud infrastructure located in various regions to ensure optimal performance and availability. All international transfers comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR Article 44-49. Processing infrastructure maintains appropriate security safeguards regardless of location.
Automatic File Deletion & Data Retention
We implement privacy-by-design through automatic data deletion:
- Audio files (your uploaded recordings) are permanently deleted after 24 hours
- Transcript files (generated text output) are permanently deleted after 48 hours
- Technical metadata is deleted within 72 hours
- Payment records are retained by our processor (LemonSqueezy) per their retention policy
This deletion is automatic, irreversible, and ensures compliance with data minimization principles. We recommend downloading your transcripts promptly after completion.

Legal Compliance & Law Enforcement
We may be required to comply with valid legal requests, court orders, subpoenas, or law enforcement demands as required by applicable law. In such cases, we may be legally obligated to preserve, access, or disclose your uploaded content and related data, even if it would otherwise be automatically deleted. We will only comply with legally valid requests and will make reasonable efforts to notify users when legally permitted to do so.
Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your uploaded content, we will notify affected users within 72 hours via email (if provided) or through our website, and will notify relevant data protection authorities as required by law. Our automatic deletion schedule significantly limits exposure windows for any potential security incidents.
4. File Security
Your audio files are protected during upload, processing, and storage with industry-standard encryption. Files are stored on secure cloud infrastructure with restricted access. Only our automated processing systems access your files, and no human personnel review your content unless explicitly requested for customer support purposes.
5. Payment Processing
All payment processing is handled securely by LemonSqueezy, our third-party payment processor. We do not store, process, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing information. LemonSqueezy maintains PCI DSS compliance and handles all financial data according to industry security standards.

Accuracy Expectations
While we strive for high accuracy (typically 95%+ for clear audio), transcription quality depends on factors including audio quality, speaker clarity, background noise, accents, and technical terminology. Our preview feature allows you to assess quality before payment.

Our AI transcription service uses Whisper large-v3 model which has been trained to detect and transcribe 99 languages automatically. However, we make no guarantees about transcription accuracy, language detection accuracy, or successful processing for any specific language.

7. Content Responsibility & Prohibited Use

You are solely responsible for all content you upload to our service. By using our transcription service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You have the legal right to possess, upload, and transcribe all audio/video content you submit
- You have obtained all necessary permissions, consents, and releases from any individuals whose voices appear in your recordings
- Your content does not violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- You understand that our service processes content automatically without human review or content filtering

Do not upload confidential, private, or sensitive content unless you understand and accept the risks. While we implement security measures and automatic deletion, any content you upload will be processed by AI systems and temporarily stored on cloud infrastructure. Prohibited Content Types
You may not upload content that:
- Is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours

8. Transcription Service Pricing & Billing
Our transcription service uses a simple tiered pricing structure: Audio files 1-15 minutes cost $2.25 flat rate. Audio files 16+ minutes cost $0.15 per minute for the total duration. The final cost for your transcription job is calculated based on the actual duration of your audio file as detected by our system. You can review the exact cost after processing completes and before payment for your audio to text conversion.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, technical issues, or high demand may occasionally affect service availability. If processing fails due to system issues, you will not be charged.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transcription service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Given our 100% satisfaction guarantee, you can always request a full refund if our service doesn't meet your needs.
11. Changes to Terms
